New Caps and Restrictions

The city has adopted the new ordinance which prohibits homes from having more than 2 adults per bedroom plus and additional 2.

Fines up to 1000.00 have now been implemented.

The vacation rental market did ask for this but the city council did not accept it.  Does everyone agree to 23 years old as the minimum age to rent.  Should we present a united ask for the city to change this.  AIRBNB allows 18 years adults book and we can not stop it.

Many locals believe that 1 day bookings are best served by lodges and hotels.  In most cases, guests that book 1 night always want to check in very early one day and have a late check out the next day.

Remember restrictions depending how they are implemented can ensure a balanced industry.
